I am occasionally asked about making the mouse cursor or arrow larger because some folks find it difficult to locate. You can do it through System Preferences. Go the the Apple menu in the upper-left corner of your screen and choose System Preferences. In System Preferences choose Universal Access. In Universal Access click on the Mouse tab. Toward the bottom of the window there is a slider labeled Cursor Size. You can click and drag that slide to the right to increase the size of the cursor. Keep in mind that when you do this the active part of the cursor (for clicking and selecting) is still at the tip of the arrow.
