I was sharing the blog post from yesterday with a client when she said, “There should be something like that for the iPhone.”
“There is!” If you want to take a picture of whatever is on your iPhone screen (or any iOS device – iPad or iPod Touch), simultaneously press (don’t hold them down, just press) the power/sleep button on the top of the iPhone and the Home button on the front and at the bottom of the iPhone. This will snap a picture of whatever is on your screen. Your screen will flash and the photo can be found in the Camera Roll album.
I often do this if I buy something from my iPhone or iPad and want a record of the receipt. I have to admit that I have also done it to record a high score on Angry Birds.
